Drilling Resumes at Navasota's Koba Bauxite Project, Guinea

Navasota Resources Ltd. ("Navasota") is pleased to report that drilling has resumed on the Koba (AMIG) Bauxite Project in the Boke Bauxite Belt, in north-western Guinea, West Africa. A crew has been in Koba for 3 weeks preparing the site access and drill pads to 6 additional plateaus. A total of 275 holes at 300-metre hole spacing, are planned on the Télimélé permit for a total of 5500 metres. To the north, on the Gaoual permit, another 105 holes totalling 2100 metres, also at 300- metre intervals, are planned on two plateaus.

RSG Global Consulting of Perth, Australia, a subsidiary of Coffey Mining, is managing the program on behalf of Navasota. The drilling contractor is West African Drilling Services ("WADS").

Results for 81 drill holes from 3 plateaus in the south-eastern section of the property were released earlier this month, confirming the presence of extensive bauxitic plateaus. Results for the remaining 165 holes covering portions of 11 additional plateaus are expected over the next few weeks. A location map will be posted at www.navasota.com shortly.

Madina Diang, Nomo, and Tito Plateaus

Madina Diang is located in the south-eastern corner of the property and is the first in a series of plateaus extending to the north and northwest. Twenty-four holes covered the plateau at nominal 300m spacing. The 26 intervals yield a weighted average grade of 42.71% Al2O3 and an average thickness of 6.19 metres.

Nomo Plateau is a 7 kilometres long north-trending plateau located immediately west of Madina Diang. Forty holes covered the plateau at nominal 300m spacing. The 33 intervals yield a weighted average grade of 43.74% Al2O3 and an average thickness of 7.61 metres.

Tito Plateau is a narrow east-trending plateau located immediately north of Madina Diang. Eighteen holes covered the plateau at nominal 300m spacing. The 14 intervals yield a weighted average grade of 40.23% Al2O3 and an average thickness of 5.57 metres.

General Information

Navasota has the right to earn a 100% interest in the AMIG permits, which cover 1,064 square kilometres in the prefectures of Télimélé and Gaoual. The permit area is located in the Boke bauxite belt which hosts the world's largest and highest quality bauxite deposits with grades of 40% to 60% aluminum oxide, directly surrounded by several of the world's major bauxite miners. Three refineries have been proposed for construction in the Boke belt in the next five years, all of which would be within close proximity to the AMIG permit area. As well, an existing railway line is located approximately 16km from the site. This line is apparently commercially available and runs an additional 135km to the port of Kamsar.
